76 years have passed since May 16, 1944, the day when 6000 Roma (adults, children, women, men) rebelled against human hatred and the ideology of Nazism. This revolt took place in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp and shows us that the spirit of our people cannot break anything. Today is not a day when we should grieve. Today is the day when we should celebrate the heroism of our brothers and sisters! Let s not forget their courage from that time and let s act in their part today!
